Refund Policy.
Last updated 29 August 2026. This Refund Policy explains when fees paid for TARG ONE subscriptions and related services are refundable, and how to request a refund.
Refund Policy details
Overview
This Refund Policy applies to fees paid to TARG Systems for TARG ONE subscriptions and related services. It forms part of the Terms of Service. If a signed Order Form or Master Services Agreement between you and TARG Systems contains different refund or credit terms, the signed document prevails.
TARG ONE is business software purchased by companies, typically under a committed subscription term. Fees fund dedicated capacity, onboarding, and support, so refunds are limited to the situations described below.
Subscription fees
Unless expressly stated otherwise in this policy or a signed agreement, subscription fees are non-refundable once a subscription period has started. Choosing not to use the Services, reducing user counts mid-term, or cancelling part-way through a committed term does not create a right to a refund for the remainder of that term.
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. Access to the Services continues until the end of the paid period, after which the subscription ends.
When refunds are provided
TARG Systems will refund fees in the following situations:
- Termination for TARG Systems' uncured material breach: if you terminate the agreement because TARG Systems materially breached it and failed to cure within the notice period, we will refund prepaid, unused subscription fees for the remainder of the terminated term on a pro-rata basis.
- Unremedied warranty failure: if the Services fail to conform materially to the Documentation and we cannot correct the non-conformity within a reasonable period, you may terminate the affected Services and receive a pro-rata refund of prepaid, unused fees, as described in the Terms of Service.
- Sub-processor objection: where the Data Processing Agreement gives you a termination right following an unresolved objection to a new sub-processor, prepaid, unused fees for the terminated portion are refunded pro-rata.
- Billing errors: amounts charged in error, such as duplicate charges or charges that do not match the applicable Order Form, will be corrected and refunded or credited once verified.
- Refunds required by law: where applicable law grants a non-waivable refund right, we honor it.
Implementation and professional services
Fees for implementation, configuration, data migration, training, and other professional services compensate work performed. Such fees are non-refundable once the relevant work has been delivered. If a professional services engagement is cancelled before completion, fees for work not yet performed will be refunded or not invoiced, while fees for work already performed remain payable.
Trials and evaluations
Where TARG Systems offers a free trial, proof of concept, or evaluation period, no fees are charged for that period and no refund rights arise from it. If you convert to a paid subscription, the paid term is governed by this policy from its start date. We encourage prospective customers to use the evaluation period, demonstrations, and discussions with our team to confirm fit before committing to a paid term.
Non-refundable items
- Fees for subscription periods that have already been consumed.
- Professional services work that has already been performed or delivered.
- Taxes, duties, and government charges collected and remitted by TARG Systems.
- Third-party fees, such as payment processing costs, that TARG Systems cannot recover.
- Charges resulting from your breach of the agreement, including reinstatement after suspension for non-payment.
How to request a refund
Submit refund requests in writing to hello@targsystems.com or to your account contact at TARG Systems, including the company name, the relevant invoice numbers, and the reason for the request. We aim to acknowledge requests within five (5) business days and to resolve verified requests within thirty (30) days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method or, where that is not practicable, by bank transfer to the paying entity.
Changes to this policy
TARG Systems may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest revision date is shown at the top of this page. Changes apply to subscription periods starting after the change takes effect and do not reduce refund rights that have already accrued.
